====== The God of Deception ======
The trickster god of lies, discord and deception. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the God of Deception has a considerable following in Illiask, though few tend to directly admit to being their follower as it tends to raise the question of what else they may be hiding. To worship them means to seek to undermine what is established in some way, and is one of the many motivations for Illiask’s constantly shifting political landscape.
===== Thematic Elements =====
**Leading Element:** Change\\
**Lesser Element:** Conflict\\
**Opposing Element:** Order
===== Tenets =====
* Order encourages laziness and tedium. Mix things up a bit.
* A world in which the outcome can be predicted is an empty existence.
* One should never reveal their hand until they are willing to go all-in.
===== Known Heresies/Schisms =====
* In Illiask, gods are open to all manner of interpretations.
* Wouldn't the occasional schism now and then be sort of fun, actually?
