As a god of Illiask, they will have a personal name unique to each of their followers, which will come to them during the course of their worship. Followers of the God of Vengeance do not generally approve of the God of Desperation, whose teachings suggest that one should show kindness to those who are deserving of far less. ===== Thematic Elements ===== **Leading Element:** Conquest\\ **Lesser Element:** Natural Law\\ **Opposing Element:** Unconditional Love ===== Tenets ===== * No wrong shall go unpunished. * Wrongs should be responded to in kind, an eye for an eye, a life for a life. * To tarry in the delivery of justice creates complacency and the false belief that the sin was acceptable. * To falter and show mercy is to encourage the growth of weakness. ===== Known Heresies/Schisms ===== * In Illiask, gods are open to all manner of interpretations. {{tag>god illiask god_of_vengeance}}
