Alross

The Telluan god of equality. To worship them is to recognise that all are equal and that none, however significant they may act or feel, may be placed above others.

Church services to Alross typically involve the congregation being called upon to speak on who they are, their works and what they have achieved. The congregation then gives them applause and appreciation for their efforts, regardless of how much they have actually achieved.

Thematic Elements

Leading Element: Unconditional Love
Lesser Element: Belonging
Opposing Element: Subjugation

Tenets

  • All mortals are created equally, do not treat one above another.
  • One life is equivalent in worth to any other, only another life can tilt the scales.

Known Heresies/Schisms

  • It is usually accepted that Alross worship involves treating all as equals, regardless of their Genus, nation, etc. There is a small subset of worshippers who instead only apply this reasoning to citizens of Tellua. The church officially disapproves of this stance, as it is seen as elevating those of Tellua above those of other nations, and thus contradictory to the notion of equality.
